North Brookfield Savings Bank Supports North Brookfield Community Food Collaborative with $500 Donation
North Brookfield Savings Bank (NBSB) is proud to announce its support for the North Brookfield Community Food Collaborative (NBCFC) with a $500 donation. Operating under the Coalition for a Healthy North Brookfield’s non-profit status, the NBCFC was established in July 2024.
Initially serving a few dozen families in North Brookfield, the NBCFC has significantly expanded its reach, now providing over 130 families (210 individuals) with both perishable and non-perishable food on a weekly basis. The donation from NBSB will directly assist the NBCFC in acquiring essential pantry items and food needed to prepare meals for those in the North Brookfield community facing food insecurity.
“This generous donation from NBSB will help us provide essential resources to those in need and strengthen our community bonds,” said Karen Farrington, President of NBCFC. “We are grateful for NBSB’s commitment to our cause and to the overall health of North Brookfield.”
This donation reflects NBSB’s dedication to enhancing the well-being of the community it serves and supporting an organization committed to alleviating food insecurity in North Brookfield, making it a better place to live for all its residents.
“We are proud to support the North Brookfield Community Food Collaborative in their mission to combat food insecurity,” said Audrey Shampine, Marketing Manager at North Brookfield Savings Bank. “At NBSB, we believe in the power of community and the importance of supporting efforts that bring people together and improve lives.”
NBSB remains dedicated to fostering strong community ties and supporting initiatives that make a positive impact.
