Help NBSB donate up to $6,500 to local Food and Toy Organizations. 

At North Brookfield Savings Bank, we’re passionate about helping our community thrive. 

Checking for a Cause is a community-focused initiative that connects everyday banking with local giving.

During the campaign, running from October 1st through November 30th, every qualifying new Checking Account will generate donations that directly support the Bank’s annual Food Drive and Toy Drive efforts.

Freedom Checking and Business Checking accounts will generate a $25 donation.

Everyday Choice Checking accounts will generate a $10 donation.

Total campaign donation commitment of up to $6,500.

During our Checking for a Cause campaign, each community drive will receive a donation of up to $3,250 based on the number of accounts opened that month.

We will present our donations to each of the organizations in the coming months. Together, we can make a real difference!

 

*When you open a qualifying checking account with us, we will make a donation to support local food and toy programs in our community. New personal checking accounts and new business checking accounts only. One donation per person. Campaign runs October 1 through November 30, 2026, or until the $6,500 donation cap is reached. Donations are funded entirely by NBSB. Donations will be Freedom Checking: $25 donation, Business Checking: $25 donation, and Everyday Choice Checking: $10 donation.  Only one donation per account.  If multiple accounts are opened at the same time, the highest donation will be made.  Offer may be rescinded at any time.

Our annual Food Drive and Toy Drive have long served as important opportunities for community members, businesses, employees, and customers to come together in support of neighbors in need. Checking for a Cause expands upon those efforts by adding a built-in charitable component to the account-opening experience and further increasing the resources available to local organizations throughout the holiday season.

Food Drive

The Annual Food Drive at North Brookfield Savings Bank aims to provide essential food items to local families and neighbors in need within their service areas. Demonstrating their commitment to community support, the bank will donate $1 for each item and dollar collected, up to a total of $3,000, to help cover the operational costs of local food pantries.

Toy Drive

The Annual Toy Drive continues North Brookfield Savings Bank’s commitment to bring holiday cheer to those in need. Donations of new, unwrapped toys will be collected at all branch locations, where every contribution will support local toy programs that make a difference in the lives of children within the community.
