North Brookfield Savings Bank is pleased to announce the officer promotions of Rick Egan, Frank Amato, Caitlin Burns, Pamela Kozlik, Caitlin O’Connor, Samantha Hammond, Warren Izyk, and Michael Terlalis following the Bank’s Annual Meeting.

Rick Egan, of Ashburnham, has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Senior Commercial Lender. Egan will be responsible for managing and leading the Commercial Lending Team, developing new and existing commercial lending relationships, informing business customers on available lending products and helping borrowers achieve their financial goals. He will work closely with the senior management team to help the Bank to reach their strategic goals.
Egan joined North Brookfield Savings Bank’s Business Center team in 2012 as Assistant Vice President/Commercial Loan Officer and most recently served as Vice President/Senior Commercial Loan Officer. He has more than 25 years of professional banking experience and is a graduate of the New England School of Advanced Commercial Lending and the Massachusetts Bankers School for Financial Studies.
Egan serves on the Board and the Loan Committee of the Quaboag Valley Business Assistance Corporation (BAC) and Community Development Corporation; is active with the Quaboag Hills Chamber of Commerce and the Central Mass South Chamber of Commerce, and also services on the Finance Committee for the East Quabbin Land Trust. Frank Amato, of Longmeadow, has been promoted to the role of Senior Vice President, Director of Mortgage Lending and Business Development. In his new role, he will continue to manage the residential mortgage department and assist customers with their home buying goals. In addition, he will further develop and manage the North Brookfield Savings Bank business development program in order to cultivate new prospective customers and build relationships in the Bank’s communities.
Amato holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Stonehill College and is licensed by the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System, NMLS License ID# 204101. Previous to joining North Brookfield Savings Bank, he successfully managed a team of loan officers and originated loans as the Assistant Sales Manager at Citizens Bank. Prior to that he was a Vice President of Production and Senior Loan Officer at 1st Alliance Lending where he oversaw the sales and processing teams to ensure high quality customer service was provided and origination practices were met.

Caitlin Burns, of West Brookfield, has been promoted to Vice President, Residential Lending Manager. She began her career at North Brookfield Savings Bank as a Loan Servicing Representative and through career advancements has since held various titles, with her most recent title being Assistant Vice President and Underwriter/Closer. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Worcester State University and is licensed by the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System, NMLS License ID# 968666.
In her new position, Burns will be responsible for overseeing the residential mortgage department in the origination, underwriting and servicing of all mortgage loans, as well as ensuring residential lending policies and procedures best serve the bank and its customers.

Pamela Kozlik, of Ware, has been promoted to Vice President, Portfolio Manager and Commercial Credit Analyst of North Brookfield Savings Bank. She joined the Bank in 2011 and quickly made advancements as she displayed her commitment to the Bank’s customers and mission. Throughout Kozlik’s career with NBSB she has held various positions including most recently as Assistant Vice President/Portfolio Manager and Commercial Credit Analyst. Before her work with North Brookfield Savings Bank, she worked as an Instructional Supervisor in the Supportive Learning Services Department of American International College. Kozlik holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Western New England University and has completed lending and commercial credit training through the Massachusetts Bankers Association.
In her new role, Kozlik will be responsible for managing and monitoring the commercial lending exception managed portfolio. In addition, she will continue to conduct high-level analyses on business loans, support existing financing relationships and review new business loan opportunities.

Caitlin O’Connor, of North Brookfield, has been promoted to Vice President, Marketing Manager. O’Connor has been in the marketing and design industry for more than 16 years, with 11 years of experience within the financial sector. She is a graduate from Mount Ida College. She joined the Bank’s marketing department in 2009 as a Marketing Assistant and was quick to show her value as a dedicated, innovative and community focused team member. Most recently, she served as NBSB’s Assistant Vice President / Marketing Manager.
In her role, she is responsible for planning and organizing all marketing-related functions including advertising, public relations and corporate relations. In addition, she ensures the Bank’s mission and values are conveyed to the public through marketing and community outreach efforts. Prior to joining NBSB, she held the role of Marketing Manager at the Worcester Center for Crafts.
O’Connor is a tried and true local at heart, contributing to the Bank’s local communities in various ways presently and throughout the years. Most recently, she serves as a Board Member for the Hearts for Heat North Brookfield Chapter, an organization that offers heating assistance to North Brookfield residents in need.

Samantha Hammond, of Leicester, has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Loan Servicing Manager. She joined North Brookfield Savings Bank in 2014 when Family First Bank merged with North Brookfield Savings Bank and most recently served as the Senior Loan Servicing Representative. Hammond has 6 years of experience in the banking industry and is a graduate of Holyoke Community College.
In her new role, Hammond is responsible for overseeing the Bank’s loan servicing department, managing the day to day operations, and carefully reviewing loans that have been booked to confirm accuracy and meet regulation requirements. In addition, she works closely with the North Brookfield Savings Bank residential lending and retail banking departments to ensure lending customers receive prompt communication, excellent service and an overall positive experience throughout the lending process.

Warren Izyk, of Ware, has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Assistant Consumer Loan Manager and Belchertown Branch Manager. He joined North Brookfield Savings Bank in 2006 as a teller, quickly proving that he was committed to NBSB’s customers, communities, his growth and the Bank’s overall success. Izyk most recently served as the Bank’s Belchertown Branch Manager and as an instrumental team member of the Consumer Lending Team in his role as Assistant Consumer Loan Manager.
In his new role, Izyk will manage the everyday operations of Belchertown Branch location and continue to assist both retail and consumer loan customers, listening to their deposit banking or lending needs, and serving them to reach their financial goals. Additionally, he will work closely with the NBSB retail and consumer lending teams to contribute to the continued goal of providing an excellent banking experience for the North Brookfield Savings Bank’s customers throughout their entire banking transaction.

Michael Terlalis, of Ashford, CT, has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Senior Mortgage Underwriter. He joined North Brookfield Savings Bank in 2017 as a Mortgage Loan Processor and quickly displayed his commitment to providing support and a smooth mortgage experience to our customers as they obtained a mortgage. His most recent role with the Bank was as Senior Mortgage Underwriter.
In his new role, Terlalis will take on increased responsibility within the mortgage lending department. He will primarily focus on assisting customers throughout the process of applying and obtaining a mortgage. Terlalis will be responsible for verifying, reviewing, evaluating and preparing mortgage loans for approval and loan commitment, and additionally, for processing and preparing loans for closing.
Terlalis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University, is a Certified Master Mortgage Underwriter through the National Association of Mortgage Underwriters and is licensed by the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System, NMLS License ID# 1039303.
