NBSB’S John Thomasian, Selected for BusinessWest’s “40 Under Forty” Class of 2021!

North Brookfield Savings Bank is proud to announce that John Thomasian, Vice President, C.F.O. & Treasurer at North Brookfield Savings Bank, has been chosen by BusinessWest for their “ 40 Under Forty”- Class of 2021. A panel of judges reviewed more than 150 nominations and concluded that John’s credentials, accomplishments, and contributions to his local community make him a true leader. He will be recognized for this accomplishment at the upcoming BusinessWest Gala in September 2021.


“I am overjoyed to have been selected to accompany the other incredible members in the class of 2021 of BusinessWest’s 40 under forty.” says John Thomasian, “It is an honor to be recognized for the hard work and dedication I have put forth to give back to our local communities and develop into a true leader.” It is a true pleasure being able to serve my hometown Bank and its customers. I am very thankful to my fellow colleagues and most of all my family for the support they have provided throughout my career!       


John is a graduate of Nichols College, with a BSA in Finance and a minor in Accounting, as well as a graduate of EASCORP’s Advanced Asset Liability Management & Investment Academy. He has served over a decade in the financial industry and has held several positions such as, Financial Analyst, AVP of Finance & Collections, and Vice President of Revenue. He currently serves as North Brookfield Savings Bank’s Vice President / Chief Financial Officer& Treasurer.  John annually participates in the side by side charity for disabled veterans, Operation Playhouse, co-sponsored by Habitat for Humanity. He is also a former committee member of the National Association of Federal Credit Unions Political Action Committee (NAFCU P.A.C.).


BusinessWest launched their “Class of 40 under forty” program in 2007. This campaign is to celebrate the hard working professionals that have worked hard to become leaders and make an impact in their communities. What was a slow start to this great program has gained much momentum through the years, as local advocates and employees double as community members.
