NBSB Partners with Hearts for Heat to Keep Local Community Members Warm

North Brookfield Savings Bank is proud to announce an enhancement to its already strong partnership with Heart for Heat; its “Share the Warmth” Hat, Coat & Mitten Drive. It has been a long standing practice at North Brookfield Savings Bank to support the North Brookfield Chapter of Hearts for Heat with a pledge to match funds raised for their fuel program.

This year we decided to go a bit further and kick off our first ever Hat, Coat & Mitten drive to benefit Hearts for Heat. North Brookfield Hearts for Heat has agreed to supply the manpower and organization needed to allocate these generously donated items to those in need, using North Brookfield Savings Bank’s community locations to accept donations. This campaign will be an essential part of helping local communities!

“This is such an Amazing gesture!” said Michelle Petraitis, Treasurer of NB Hearts for Heat. “Given that February is homeless Veterans Month, I’d like to see if there a way we can provide additional help to veteran families in need.”  This drive will do just that!

North Brookfield Savings Bank is a longtime community supporter of Hearts for Heat, donating over $17,000 since joining the program. North Brookfield Savings Bank is proud to partner with Hearts for Heat to collect gently used coats, hats and mittens. Donations will be accepted from February 16th through March 5th at all North Brookfield Savings Bank locations.
