3. External deposits (direct deposit) received by North Brookfield Savings Bank (NBSB) may be credited to your account up to one business day prior to the originally scheduled posting date. On certain occasions, we may not receive the information ahead of time and will not be able to post your deposit early. Instead, your direct deposit will be posted on your normal payday or as soon as we receive it. NBSB is not liable if we do not receive the direct deposit or fail to deposit these funds to your account early. We recommend that you do not write checks or authorize any other withdrawals against your directly deposited funds until you verify that they have been posted to your account. You are responsible for any insufficient/uncollected funds fees from transactions clearing prior to your direct deposit.
Each depositor is insured by the FDIC to at least $250,000. All deposits above the FDIC insurance amount are insured by the Depositors Insurance Fund (DIF).
